If you were to write a novel under a nom de plume (pen name), what name would you use?

One of my favorite writers Richard Laymon, wrote under a female pen name to write romance novels. So if it paid, I wouldn't be against it, lol. I don't really have a good answer for this one, so uh, Alex Mason (been playing too much #CODBlackOps).
